How to use snippets of code without accessing core files

Sometimes it is necessary to access WordPress core files to make updates to plugins and other core files but you don’t want to start messing around in your functions.php installation file. The best way to handle this is by using a nifty little plugin called “Code Snippets”. This plugin will allow you to make the changes and implement them into you functions.php file and give you warnings for incorrect syntax so you know you are not going to break your site (hopefully!).
